STRAW HAIR BE GONE!
by Ruth Strachan
Cold weather + hair = sad times. Hair can become really damaged by the harsher temperatures, central heating and heat styling. If you have coloured hair, then chances are your hair may already feel super-damaged, which means you can kiss those glossy locks goodbye this autumn! Don’t fret, LMB are here to take your hair from hay to yay with a few things you can probably find in your cupboard!
Eggs are a great way of getting protein back into your hair! You can use mayonnaise as a strengthening conditioner if your hair is feeling brittle. You can also mix eggs with olive oil for a moisture boost.
ALMOND OR COCONUT OIL
If your hair is feeling dried out, massage one of these oils from your scalp through to the ends and leave overnight for an intensive at-home treatment.
AT HOME RECIPE
Add some banana and honey to your oil to add extra shine and gloss to your hair!
APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
This is a surprising one, but if you rinse your hair through with this from your roots to your ends it will clear any build up and leave your hair feeling super-soft.
This might seem like an obvious one, but making a conscious effort to drink more water will leave your skin and hair feeling healthier.
Flax seeds are rich in Omega 3, so they do wonders for your hair, skin and nails. Sprinkle them into salads or pasta dishes for a strengthening boost.
