LA GIRL PRO CONCEAL
Powder, cream… liquid contour? Now that contouring is well and truly cemented into mainstream makeup culture, the possibilities for formula, technique and style know no bounds. One of the latest products to storm the YouTube beauty sphere was originally marketed as a concealer, but due to its huge shade range, it has become more commonly recognized as a liquid contour. Hardcore contour fans, meet LA Girl Pro Conceal.

Available in over 20 shades, LA Girl offers a sculpting option for everyone. We use the shade Medium Bisque for a cool toned contour on our NC25 skin and have also got Toast waiting in the wings for our warmer summer colour. One of the new shades, Porcelain, makes a brilliant fair-skinned highlight shade and conceals undereye darkness in seconds.
Each tube comes with a built in brush applicator for clean and easy application, Creamy, pigmented and smooth, we’ve found this liquid is best applied straight from the brush anywhere where you would usually contour, then blended in with a damp blending sponge. This concealer blends like a dream and adds a little extra coverage to our medium coverage base. Once blended, it sets satiny and smooth, but you could set with a little translucent powder or contour powder to add a little extra longevity.
If you’re looking for a way to take your contouring to the next level, and prefer cream formulas to powder, LA Girl could certainly be your new contouring weapon of choice. On the whole we like to keep contouring for evening wear (daytime we are more about the youthful sunstripping), and these concealers certainly add the coverage that we look for in an evening base. They also photograph beautifully, look great after a few hours and add an almost undetectable sculpting effect to the face.
I almost forgot! The best part? These concealers can be bought online for less than £3 each – that’s better than drugstore pricing! We struggle to think of a better way to spend our last couple of pounds before payday.
